I don't know about you, but I'm ready for fall. I keep looking at sweaters & boots with such longing that I'm surprised that the leaves aren't changing colour & falling off of the trees. I'm starting my fall wish list now so that when it actually comes time to wear layers, my wardrobe will be ready! J. Crew's newest arrivals were released the other day, so I'm starting off my fall shopping with five of my top picks.
Boy Shirt in Oxford Stripe in "Neon Coral"
I love J. Crew's Boy shirts. They're so comfortable! This one in neon coral would be a great addition to my closet as it would be a fun pop of colour during the winter months but still be able to worn during warmer months as well. How would you wear it?
Painter Button Boatneck Tee in "Heather Pavement"
I have a few of the Painter boatneck tees & I love how versatile they are. Grey is definitely the next colour on my list as it looks great with navy & other fall hues.
Scallop-trim Mini in "Navy"
I feel a little silly drooling over a skirt when our fall usually goes straight to winter, but I can't help it in this case. The scalloped detailing on this skirt is just too cute! You can never have too many navy skirts, right? Right?
Drapey Sailor Top in "Faded Barn"
There are few things I love more than a striped shirt. This deep red one would be perfect to add to my growing collection of stripes! It would be great with a pair of jeans & tall riding boots on a casual day or paired with a skirt & flats while the weather is still nice.
Tipped Silk Collar Top in "Heather Light Grey"
This top is my favourite of all the new arrivals. I love the contrast collar! I actually ran out & bought it at my local J. Crew yesterday because I knew I just had to have it. I'm thinking that I'll pair it with skinny black pants & flats or tall boots for fall, although I also love the skirt it's styled with online. How would you wear it?
